Gary teaches private, semi-private, and group lessons, as well as the City’s recreational classes. He loves the positive vibe that pickleball brings to all ages of players.  He enjoys teaching students of all ages, including kids, and adults. “I love to see the sport continue to evolve and grow. Most of my racquetball friends from years ago are out here playing pickleball. SBTPC has really grown into one of the best recreation facilities in the Orange County area.”

Gary holds dual instructor certifications, with the PPR (Professional Pickleball Registry), and IPTPA, (International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association). He is also an Ambassador for the USA Pickleball association.

Gary loves that pickleball can be learned in a short time (he will have you playing your first game within the hour); and, that it can be played with both friends and family; recreationally or competitively.  His favorite pro players to watch are Ben Johns & Anna Leigh Waters.

Gary and his wife, Caryn, also a certified pickleball instructor, live in Rossmoor.
