Mickey is a Long Beach native with a passion for coaching tennis based in Southern California. After earning outstanding results at the national level in both singles and doubles as a junior, Mickey trained as a USPTA professional coach and further earned her elite USPTA High Performance Coaching Endorsement. Between 1993-2015, Mickey toured the world with players competing in both ATP and WTA professional events. Her expertise in stroke mechanics, movement, strategy, conditioning, physical acumen, and the psyche of tennis athletes makes her an invaluable coach to her players and their families. Mickey has since made Seal Beach Tennis and Pickleball Center her home. For the last twenty-one years, Mickey has developed a successful Junior Tennis Academy that supports both new learners and High-Performance players, many of whom have gone on to obtain D1 collegiate scholarships. She has coached aspiring junior tennis players through local, sectional, and national USTA competitions as well as UTR events. Mickey’s vast professional experiences allow her to understand and tailor instruction to individual players so that they may progress and learn the most complete game of tennis as possible.
